Question

When should I book my hotel?

Answer

We were advised to book as soon as possible. The Sister Bay Fall Festival is the same weekend as our wedding; last year, the entire county was sold out of housing accommodations. Our hotel block information is on the “Lodging & Travel” page, though you are also welcome to stay elsewhere.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation included a guest, then yes! Otherwise, we have limited wiggle room for additional guests. We appreciate your understanding!

Will your wedding be kid-friendly?

Answer

If your children are named on your invite/RSVP, they are welcome to attend! If you are staying onsite, you can request rollaway beds/children's cots when booking.

What if it rains?

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail hour are scheduled to be outdoors. If it rains, both will be moved inside the Event Center, which is also our reception space.

How can I communicate a food allergy?

Answer

Please let us know in your RSVP if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions. Example: If you select a dish that already says gluten free and have Celiac Disease, please still make note in your RSVP so the chef knows to avoid cross-contamination.

Where should I park?

Answer

If you are staying onsite, you will be given instructions on where to park at check in, based on your housing selection. If you are staying offsite, please park in the Event Parking lot upon arrival. You may then walk from Event Parking to the ceremony site, or accept a golf cart ride from resort staff. All day-of events will take place on the Gordon Lodge property.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to account for parking, reaching the ceremony site and getting settled prior to the ceremony.
