While at a place we fell in love with on a previous trip, in the middle of our favorite Rocky Mountains that play such a big part in our lives, Andrew took one knee and told me he had an important question to ask me. Some time later, I had to ask him if he did in fact ask me that important question, as the adrenaline and excitement of the moment made my memory blur! We have returned to this spot since then, and plan on returning annually if we can.
We are each other's partners and best friends, and are excited to take the step of becoming man and wife in the beautiful state of Hawaii. We consider ourselves so blessed to have family and close friends by our sides as we exchange our vows and become a family.
Unknowingly, Andrew and I worked at the same company for about a year and a half before we knew of each other. One employer sponsored baseball game later, and we instantly clicked. My favorite thing about Andrew when we first met was his cheeky sense of humor and his boisterous laugh, it was easy to smile around him. That has been a constant in our relationship, the ease of things. Easy to get to know each other and become vulnerable around one another, easy to be ourselves, easy to have fun, and even easy to disagree. Sharing passions for travel and all things outdoors, we have filled our time together with more adventures than some experience during decades with one another. And that is important to us, making the most of the time we have together and enjoying as many of life's gifts as we can.
