Yes, the entire evening will take place at Irvine Nature Center. The ceremony will be held at Wedding Point while the cocktail hour and reception will take place just outside of Irvine's Guest Center.
The dress code is "dressy casual." Sundresses, floral prints, and suits in lighter hues are all welcome. Jackets and ties are not required, but please no jeans and t-shirts. The entire wedding will be taking place outside and July in Maryland can be hot and humid.
For us, your presence at our wedding is the gift! That said, if you feel so inclined, we are encouraging people to donate to Kids in Need of Defense (KIND). KIND seeks to provide legal representation for unaccompanied refugee and migrant children in immigration court. They recently lost a lot of federal funding, so there is a lot of need. You can visit www.supportkind.org to donate.
It's about five minutes long on a partly paved, partly gravel path with a slight incline.
Yes, there will be a small shuttle available for those with mobility issues to transport them down to and back up from the ceremony.
Dinner will be a buffet that includes vegan and gluten-free options. There will also be an open bar.
