Lay out in McCarren Park and people-watch the cool Brooklyn folks. Andy loves to throw frisbee here!
The first female-founded brewery in Brooklyn! This spot has great bites, a fun scene, and awesome beers. We love their sours!
We LOVE the ferry. For the price of a subway fare, you get some of the best views of the city (and some of the freshest air!) Take the ferry south from the North Williamsburg stop, get a drink at the boat's bar (seriously!), and enjoy the ride from the top level. Hop off at Wall Street to check out the Seaport neighborhood in Manhattan.
This is a classic Brooklyn dive bar that also has a retro bowling alley! Expect no frills, and get there early to avoid a long wait to bowl. Enjoy a pitcher of beer and some pinball while you wait.
If you have a peanut allergy, this isn't your place. If live honky-tonk music, cheap beer, and peanut shells on the floor sound like your scene, this is the place for you! PS: Try the Willie's Frozen Coffee!
An awesome indoor flea market if you want to snag some vintage clothing or artisan jewelry!
An outrageous outdoor food festival -- come with an empty stomach and get there early!
The name says it all!
