Travel Note
Assuming most of our guests will be flying into Rome, you can then take a flight (1 hr) directly into Bari or hop on the train (4 hrs) into the Bari Train station. We have done both options, and recommend you pick based on the times that work best for your travel day. Note that the Bari train station is right in the middle of Bari and is very walkable to many hotels + the center of the city.
Travel Note
♥ Masserias: A Masseria is a fortified farmhouse found in the Puglia region and typically built in the 16th century. Many of them have been renovated and turned into beautiful boutique hotels that are a joy to call home for a few days. There are dozens of beautiful Masserias within 20 minutes of our venue that we encourage you to look at (we have listed some of our favorites below). ♥ Hotel: We recommend staying in the town of Ostuni (15 min from venue), Monopoli (20 min from venue), or Polignano a Mare (30 min from venue) ♥ Airbnb: if you opt to rent an Airbnb or hotel for your stay, we recommend looking into the following towns: Fasano, Monopoli, Locorotondo, Alberobello, Ostuni, Poligiano a Mare
Travel Note
We recommend renting a car if you are able to. Driving to all of the little towns in the area and having a meal, shop, coffee, and walk around is our favorite way to explore the area! Reminder to make sure you reserve an automatic rental ahead of time if you can't drive a manual/stick shift.
