Zachariah and Sophia met on an app called Snapchat through her sister Hope. Hope sent Zachariah a picture of Sophia and Zach thought she was the most beautiful girl he’s ever seen! Eventually he added her and they started talking. Months later Zach finally asked Sophia out on Valentine’s Day, even bought her flowers and chocolate. Sadly Sophia had to cancel last minute because she got off of work late and had to leave super early in the morning to go to Maine. Thankfully that didn't deter Zach…as soon as Sophia was back in town they made plans to finally meet in person, but COVID had different plans and they went into lockdown. Of course that didn’t stop Zach and Sophia. Sophia snuck out of her dad's house and finally met Zach for the first time. They went to Waffle House (because that was the only place open at 12am) and spent the rest of the night talking and laughing together. At around 3 am they both gave each other a goodbye hug with plans for another date. From there, the rest is history. Texting turned into dating, and dating into engagement on October 5. 2020. where Zach surprised Sophia by getting down on one knee while overlooking the sunset in Panama City Florida. It was a truly magical moment. In between all the happy tears, Sophia managed to squeak out a "Yes!', and here we are today! Zach and Sophia are so excited to embark on this next chapter of their lives and can't wait to celebrate with you.
