a day to remember

Tucker and I met in our clinical rotations class during our junior year of high school at Plano West. Our journey began when we were assigned the same rotation at a nursing home together. Nothing screams romance like baggy gray scrubs, teenage antics, and geriatrics! From there, our friendship began - on a bet, no less. The budding rivalry turned into many moments of shared laughter, inside jokes, and unforgettable memories. On April 26th, 2016, we finally made it official! (Pretzel Day, for our Office fans out there). Tucker supported myself (and his sister!) at all of our softball games, and we went to our first homecoming and prom dances with each other. Since then, we graduated high school and began the next step in our journey at Texas A&M University, where we fully embraced the Aggie mentality! We both graduated from A&M and have been navigating life in Dallas together. From going on trips to attending even more A&M football games to Tucker surviving the last 4 (fun!) years of medical school, it has been a nonstop adventure for the both of us. On a trip with friends in Maui, while watching the sunrise at the summit of Haleakala Crater, Tucker proposed! (you all have permission to say "finally"). We have been so excited to start this new chapter after almost 10 years together!
