Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress in weather appropriate semi-formal fashion. Think vibrant colors, textures and patterns, an outfit to make you feel fancy yet fun! There are many different terrains so high heels, although very beautiful, are going to be difficult to maneuver in. Please avoid jeans, t-shirts, hoodies, athletic wear, white/ivory colors, flip flops, casual sneakers, and baseball/snapback/ trucker hats. Thank you!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

All are welcome to arrive at noon, and the ceremony will start at 2!

Are kids welcome?

This will be an 18 and older event.

Are there pets allowed?

Unfortunately the furry friends will need to stay home.

Will I need to bring warm clothes to change into?

Answer

When the late summer sun sets expect temperatures to drop. Please check weather temps in advance and bring clothes/shoes that will keep you warm and comfortable but that are still fun, colorful, and lively to keep the party going!

Will there be Vegetarian food options?

Answer

Yes! The food served during the ceremony will be buffet style with multiple tasty selections. Vegan options unfortunately will be limited.

Is there an EV station at the Hideout?

Answer

The Hideout does not offer any type of car charging. If you have an electric vehicle make sure to charge it before your trip. Reliable EV stations closest to the hideout will be in Tahoe or Jackson so make sure to plan accordingly.

Will song requests be taken?

Answer

The DJ is a well known local performer who will be playing a curated set specifically for this wedding. All types of music genres will be incorperated. So no need to show her your music app to play a song, everyone will get their dance on, no matter what!

Where is the closest grocery store?

Answer

The closest grocery stores will be: Safeway in Pollock Pines ( 45 mins ), Holiday Market in Meyers (45 mins), or Safeway/Raleys in Jackson ( 1hr ).

What if rain is in the forecast?

Answer

This event will be guaranteed rain or shine! If it looks like rain will be a part of the party, there is a covered space for the ceremony and reception. If so, it is advised to bring a rain jacket, umbrella, and shoes that you don't mind getting mud on.

Are there any outdoor items I should bring?

Answer

This venue is 90% outdoors and in the woods therefore some outdoor supplies will be helpful! We recommend sunscreen, bug spray, flashlight, portable power bank, reusable water bottle, and clips/hair ties in case of wind.

Can we have fires in the camping areas?

Answer

This property does not allow for any fires that are not in designated fire pits.
