Scott and Sophia met at Sophia's coffee shop while both trying to complete their college degrees. Scott will tell you that Sophia's deep brown eyes sealed the deal for him, Sophia knows it was the many chai tea lattes she made that were the real selling point. After a first date filled with many laughs, coughs, and a few near accidents, Scott and Sophia were smitten. Fast forward a few long months (for Sophia), Scott worked up the nerve to ask her to be his girlfriend. Her only response was, "I've been waiting". The rest is a little bit of history, and a whole lot of love. Scott and Sophia both graduated from their respective colleges, embarked on their journeys with their careers, and continued building a life that they loved with the person they love. Scott and Sophia got engaged on October 19th, 2024. For Sophia it was the happiest day of her life, for Scott...the most nervewracking. Scott proposed to Sophia in the middle of the most beautiful sunflower field and pulled off one of the best surprises she had ever experienced. Scott and Sophia are beyond happy to share this special day with the people they love the most. There has not been a single day that they have not dedicated themselves to the Lord and to one another. Scott and Sophia are overjoyed to be embarking on this journey together. With a foundation of friendship, faith, and above all love, a truly happy marriage is on the horizon. Scott and Sophia would like to thank their friends and family for taking time to be with them on their special day.
