What are my transportation options?
Answer
For Friday's Welcome Party: There is metered street parking nearby on Halsted and Armitage if you are driving. The venue is a six minute walk from the Armitage Brown Line Train Station if you plan on taking public transportation. For the Wedding: If you plan on taking a rideshare to or from Tied House, Sophia and I have arranged Uber vouchers to ease your travel plans so we can celebrate all night long! You will either receive a text from Uber with a link to download the voucher or it can be found on our wedding website. These vouchers will be active on Saturday evening through early Sunday morning. UBER VOUCHERS: https://vouchers.uber.com/c/RGJUZHWEYKF Parking is limited around the venue—there is metered parking on Belmont and Southport and free street parking on Fletcher. If you are planning on parking, we suggest that you give yourself an additional 10-15 mins.

What should I wear?

Friday, May 30 | Welcome Drinks at Blue Door Farm Stand: Smart Casual But what is "smart casual?" If you opt for dark jeans, slacks or chinos, a collared shirt, dress, skirt, or jumpsuit Sophia will give you a thumbs up. Please don't show up in a tuxedo, ballgown, or athleisure. Saturday, May 31 | Wedding Ceremony and Reception at Tied House: Semi-formal Wear something polished, but comfortable - we need you ready to dance all night long! We recommend a suit or dress pants with a blazer/sport coat, a cocktail, midi, or maxi dress, or a nice jumpsuit. Our venue has a lot of color so don't be shy!

Will kids be invited?
Answer
We love your kids, but our wedding is an adults-only event unless they are participating in the ceremony. If you're traveling with your children, we would be happy to help with arrangements for childcare in Chicago. Please send us an email for extra help!
