Things To Do

For our friends and family travelling to Milwaukee from out of state, here are some of our favorite spots if you are looking to check out the city during your visit!

Juneau Beer Garden

900 North Prospect Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53202

When in Milwaukee! This is one of our favorites and just across the street for guests staying at the Knickerbocker. Trish recommends everyone try a Spotted Cow while in they are in Wisconsin.

Colectivo Coffee Lakefront

1701 North Lincoln Memorial Drive, Milwaukee, WI 53202

You can enjoy coffee or a light meal, sit on the patio, and take a stroll along Milwaukee's lake front!

Glorioso's Italian Market

1011 East Brady Street, Milwaukee, WI 53202

Our ideal afternoon in town is grabbing picnic supplies from Glorioso's deli and taking it over to enjoy in Lake Park. If you have a sweet tooth, try the lemon cake :)

Milwaukee Public Market

400 North Water Street, Milwaukee, WI 53202

The market has something for everyone! Grab a bite to eat, pick up some goodies from local vendors, and explore Milwaukee's Third Ward neighborhood.

Milwaukee Art Museum

700 North Art Museum Drive, Milwaukee, WI 53202

Designed by Santiago Calatrava, The Milwaukee Art Museum is an architectural landmark of the city as well as the home to a diverse collection of art (Soph recommends keeping an eye out for the Georgia O'Keefe paintings!)

Edelweiss Cruises & Boat Tours

205 West Highland Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53203

Take a historic narrated boat tour to learn about Milwaukee's history while cruising through the Milwaukee River and enjoying views of the skyline from the harbor.
