Question

When and where is the ceremony?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 15, 2027, at Church of the Nativity. We recommend arriving approximately 20–30 minutes early to allow time for parking and seating.

Question

When and where is the reception?

Answer

The reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Hallbrook Country Club. Cocktail hour, dinner and dancing will follow!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be black-tie formal, and we would love for our guests to embrace the opportunity to dress up for the occasion. Think elegant, polished and ready for a very special evening. For women, we recommend floor-length gowns, formal maxi dresses or elevated eveningwear in dressy fabrics and silhouettes. For men, we recommend tuxedos or dark formal suits paired with a dress shirt and tie or bow tie. We kindly ask that guests avoid short cocktail dresses, sundresses, casual fabrics, khakis, polos, sneakers and other daytime attire. Question

What should I do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be a short break between the ceremony and reception. Guests are welcome to return to their hotel, relax, grab a drink or explore the surrounding Prairie Village and Leawood areas before heading to Hallbrook Country Club at 5:30 p.m..

Question

Is parking available?

Answer

Yes, complimentary parking will be available at both Church of the Nativity and Hallbrook Country Club. Please allow a little extra time to park before the ceremony.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have included several nearby hotel recommendations on the Travel page. The Inn at Meadowbrook is our top recommendation, followed by the Marriott Kansas City Overland Park and SpringHill Suites. Please book early, as availability may become limited as the wedding approaches.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Your invitation will indicate exactly who is included in your invitation. Due to venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate the guests formally listed on your invitation and RSVP.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Unless your invitation specifically includes your child’s name, we kindly ask that you enjoy the evening as an adults-only celebration. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Will the reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The reception will primarily take place indoors at Hallbrook Country Club, with opportunities to enjoy the surrounding outdoor spaces throughout the evening, weather permitting.

Question

Who should I contact with additional questions?

Answer

For questions not answered here, please reach out to Sophia or Parker. As the wedding gets closer, we may direct day-of questions to a member of our wedding party or planning team so we can remain fully present and enjoy the celebration.
