We're Getting Married!

It was a crisp autumn evening, and the Halloween party was in full swing at Basic Academy high school. Sophia, a junior was dressed as an angel, her long black hair styled in loose waves. She was laughing with her friends when she noticed him - Nathaniel, the charming senior with piercing black eyes and and a bright smile. As fate would have it, Sophia and Nathaniel struck up a conversation at the party. She found herself drawn to his warm smile and easygoing nature. As the night wore on, Nathaniel offered to drive Sophia home, but she was too nervous to accept. Instead he waited with her until her parents arrived to pick her up. Sophia felt a spark of connection she could not ignore. Days later, Sophia mustered up the courage to ask Nathaniel if she could join him and his friends to go off-campus. To her delight, Nathaniel agreed. Her friend tagged along, and as they hung out, Nathaniel's friends teased him about making a move. As Sophia stepped out of the convenience store, the group fell silent, their eyes fixed on Nathaniel. Sophia's friend later filled her in on the details. The next day, during class, Nathaniel pulled Sophia aside a sly grin across his face. "A little birdy told me you like me," he whispered. "Is it true?" Sophia's cheeks flushed as she nodded, her heart racing. "Do you like me too?" she asked. His eyes locked onto hers, his smile radiant. "Yes I do" As they exchanged their first tender smiles.
