There are several airports nearby. The closest is Greensboro, which is a regional airport about 30 minutes from Winston Salem. Alternately, you can fly into Raleigh-Durham or Charlotte, both about 1-1.5 hours away from Winston Salem

Unfortunately the weekend of Oct 3 is also Wake Forest University's family weekend. As such, hotel room options are sparse. We recommend you book your hotel room ASAP, especially if you want to stay in Winston Salem. If you do not mind a short drive (20-30 min) feel free to look at hotels in Greensboro, Kernersville, or Clemmons. We also recommend looking at AirBnBs if none of the hotel options appeal.
