Our Story

It started in a seventh-grade science classroom, not with sparks or grand gestures, but with something much simpler- a seating chart. Sophia took her assigned seat, probably expecting another ordinary class. Next to her sat Max, whom she only knew through mutual friends at the time, brought together by nothing more than a randomized teacher's seating arrangement. Their first interactions were not anything out of a movie- just quiet conversations, shared pencils, and the occasional question, "What did you get for number three?" on a homework worksheet, typically asked by Max. It was easy. Natural. A friendship built in the small, ordinary moments of middle school. Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. What began as exchanging homework answers and working side by side on lab worksheets grew into something more meaningful. They laughed more, talked longer, and began to find joy in each other's presence without even realizing it. By the time eighth grade came around, their simple friendship had grown into something undeniable- a connection neither of them expected, but both of them welcomed. Through high school, the story continued to unfold. They experienced the highs of growing up together and the challenges that came with it, learning not just who they were as individuals, but who they were together. And through it all, no matter what life placed in their path, they chose each other- again and again. On November 17th, 2023, on their fifth anniversary of dating, Max proposed to Sophia shortly after his homecoming from Basic Training and the Air Force Security Forces Academy. Since then, they have been enjoying the experience of their college years alongside each other, engaged and dreaming of the life they are going to build together. Now, years later, what started as two kids sitting next to each other in science class has become something truly everlasting. A love that has grown patiently, weathered challenges, and deepened over time. The kind of love that does not just happen overnight, but is built- day by day, year by year- into something strong, steady, and beautiful.
