we're getting married!

We met when we were both in college at The Ohio State University. We found ourselves doing anything to be in the same room together - bonfires, board game nights with our friends, worship nights, movie marathons, star gazing, and Steak 'N' Shake runs for strawberry milkshakes. We stayed up way too late and talked about everything and nothing all at the same time. We went to our 8 ams with sleepy eyes and half-hearted, semi-procrastinated notes - anxious to do it all over again the next day. Next thing we knew, Marshall was knocking on Sophie's front door to ask her on a coffee date. 1 date turned into date(s), which turned into dating, which turned into a snowed-in proposal in a treehouse filled with books and John Mayer sweetly drifting in the background. Because of this love, we know more of God's love - He is sweet, and kind, and gracious and tender. Thank you Jesus for our story so far - we are so excited to see the goodness and mercy He has for us - for the rest of our days. 1 John 3:16, "This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us."
