Our story started 11 years ago, my freshman year at Texas A&M University. I was paired with two random roommates, Ashley and Lindsay (now lifelong friends). They asked me if I wanted to go with them to a house party hosted by a few guys they went to high school with. Little did I know I was meeting my future husband that night! Justin and I hit it off instantly. I couldn’t get over how cute and sweet he was (and still is)! But, it wasn't meant to be… yet. Justin and I became good friends. When he was in town, we went to football games together, had fun nights on Northgate, and sometimes I would whoop his butt on the basketball court. Junior year, something shifted… Justin and I started texting here and there, usually trash talking each other’s NBA teams (Go dubs!). After a while, texting and talking on the phone became an everyday thing. I would get so excited every time he came to College Station for the weekend so we could hang out in person. I was a giddy 21 year old head over heels. Justin finally asked me on our first date, a movie and Chick-Fil-A. A month after, he asked me to be his girlfriend. I moved to Houston after I graduated to start my first big girl job but also to be closer to Justin. The past eight years we have built a beautiful life together. And now, we are ready for our next chapter as husband and wife!
