We decided to get married at the Alameda County Courthouse in Oakland. The courthouse allows a very small number of guest to accompany us, just enough for our immediate family to be there. We hope that you will still want to join us in celebrating our marriage at the big party afterwards!
Joe and Sophia live in an amazing community started by artist Peter Volkus called "The Dome". We are thrilled to be allowed to use the large performance space for our party. This building was once a mayonnaise factory, and is now home to many artists, but it is still a warehouse! Please be prepared for cooler temperatures and concrete floors.
