Jacob and Sophia met at their current employer (PwC). They began working at PwC immediately after graduating college (2013 and 2016, respectively). Their relationship quickly took off when Jacob returned from an India work trip in March 2017 and was placed on Sophia’s team. Jacob “acted” like he needed help understanding a work assignment which required Sophia’s assistance - and that’s how their story begins!

Jacob proposed to Sophia on a brisk December morning atop the St. Augustine lighthouse. Sophia has always had a fascination with lighthouses. Jacob surprised her with an 8am “moon rise” lighthouse tour as a Christmas gift. Sophia was completely blindsided when Jacob dropped down to one knee that memorable morning. To further the surprise, Jacob coordinated family members and friends to be awaiting at the base of the lighthouse to welcome the newly-engaged couple down. The celebrations continued with champagne on the St Augustine inlet and an enchanting evening during the Nights of Lights with family.
