We met while studentes at Gustavus Adolphus College. Being the time of Covid-19, the date kept getting delayed by quarantines, changed practice schedules, and more until finally one month after Sophie agreed to go on a date, it finally happened. From there, we never left each other's side. Suddenly, Gunnar was attending "swim matches" (meets, he learned the correct lingo later on), and Sophie was trying to figure out what the heck a first down meant (she also has figured that one out). Gustavus holds a special place in our hearts as where we met and fell in love. We are so excited to be getting married and celebrate back in St. Peter, where the story started.
