They met for tacos and margs just 5 days after Emily's 21st bday. As an experienced 21 year old of four months, Sophia took her to the best bar in San Diego. Moonshine. It felt like fate because on this random Thursday night in July, one of Sophia's and one of Emily's friends were at the bar together as coworkers. Immediately, a connection was formed between the girls, their friends, and that invisible string that started in the 805 made its way down to the 619. They danced the night away and never looked back. Emily and Sophia quickly became best friends and later fell in love. Since their first date, Emily loved Sophia's hair, and Sophia loved Emily's bright blue eyes. The girls finished their senior years of college strong while beginning to integrate into each other's lives. They began to call each other's friends their own and began to explore and enjoy San Diego as a pair. Over the next five years, Emily and Sophia had so much fun! They car camped at Coachella twice. Enjoyed four exciting trips to Vegas together. Three trips to Mexico. One that included all their best friends and an iconic surprise engagement! An unforgettable three-week Euro tour with Marie and Johanna. A stunning two-week road trip through California. Most importantly, they made every weekend in San Diego feel like a vacation. They are always hunting out the best matchas, the best sunset spots, and the best neighborhood walking routes. We feel so lucky to have such a supportive community surrounding us.
