Travel Note
Transportation to/from the airport
We recommend a ride share service (ex. Uber, Lyft) for those needing to travel between Hartsfield-Jackson airport and the Emory Conference Center Hotel (or other hotels you may be staying at). Ride share services from the airport to Emory Conference Center Hotel usually range from $50-70 (one-way). Public transportation in Atlanta can be challenging. However, for those interested in an adventure, the MARTA Gold and Red train lines will both go to Lindbergh and bus #6 will take you to Emory (Clifton Rd NE & 1615). Tickets are around $2.50-3.50 (one-way). We recommend downloading the Breeze Mobile 2.0 app for those planning on riding public transit. Hartsfield-Jackson airport also has a variety of car rental options for anyone who may prefer that option.
Flight
Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL)
For those arriving from outside of the United States, any checked baggage will be delivered to international baggage claim. After picking up your bags, you may take the Plane Train from the international terminal to the domestic terminal baggage claim/ground transportation. All further ground transportation options will be accessible from this point (see recommendations above).
