Sophia and Connor met eight years ago at Siena College in Shakespeare class (Shoutout Dr. Spain-Savage, we hope to see you at the ceremony!), but their story really started at a little street fest. Connor, not quite remembering Sophia’s name but determined to get her attention, yelled across the crowd, “Shakespeare!” It worked—they stopped to chat, hung out for the day, and later that night, Sophia threw a message at him on Instagram. Connor had grown up around Siena College and felt totally at ease in the area, while Sophia—new to upstate New York —was still getting her bearings. Connor’s outgoing nature, quick wit, and warm kindness stood out immediately. He wasn’t shy about showing his interest, and Sophia loved that confidence. Early on, they connected over their shared love of music, food, and just spending time together. Most of their first memories together involve workout dates, roadtrip karaoke sessions, and hours of conversation that felt easy. What started with a shout in the crowd turned into a partnership full of laughter, curiosity, and a deep love that’s still growing.
