Since everyone will be traveling from different cities and on different dates, a group flight isn’t possible. However, if you’d like help finding or booking your flights, our travel agent Raquel is happy to assist you. The nearest airport is Vincenzo Bellini Catania Airport (CTA), about 66 km (roughly 1 hour drive) from Taormina. Hotel
We’ve reserved a room block at [Hotel Name] for our guests, and Raquel (our wonderful travel agent) is happy to help with bookings there. Taormina also has many other beautiful hotel options, and if you’d prefer to stay somewhere else, Raquel can assist you with those arrangements as well. (Please note that she’s not able to assist with Airbnb reservations.) Please just note that wedding day transportation will be organized to and from [Hotel Name], so if you’re staying at another location, you’ll need to plan to meet at the hotel in order to join the group transport. Travel Note

Rental Car
For guests who would like more flexibility to explore Sicily, car rentals are available directly from the Catania Airport. This can be a great option if you’re planning day trips before or after the wedding (Cefalù, Siracusa, Mount Etna, etc.). Please note: parking in Taormina can be limited, as the historic center is mostly pedestrian. It’s much easier if your hotel or Airbnb provides dedicated parking, so we recommend confirming this before booking accommodations. If you plan to rent a car in Italy, you’ll need to bring your valid driver’s license, and Canadians are also required to have an International Driving Permit (IDP). This can be obtained easily through CAA before your trip.
