Is there a dress code?

YES! we would like our guests to dress in formal attire.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony meaning no photos please! we ask all our guests to follow this and be completely present during our special time! Our hired professionals will be doing the photo taking during that time. Feel free to take all the photos you want after we say "I Do"

Can I bring a guest?

Unless specified on your formal invitation, we ask you do not bring a guest. Thank you for understanding!

What time is the ceremony

The ceremony will start at 3:30 pm but we ask all our guests to arrive by 3:00 pm. If you are late, you will kindly be asked to not enter the ceremony space and please wait to enter cocktail hour!

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love kids, but we would appreciate that you have a babysitter on the schedule for the night of our wedding. We have decided to keep our wedding and reception adults only. We do hope you understand we can't wait to celebrate with you!

Diving to the mansion

Answer

When driving to the Grand Island Mansion the roads are old, bumpy, narrow, SINGLE LANE, and have no street lights. Please be aware of this and plan accordingly before and after the event. We recommend you take road 220 instead of Povertly Lane for a more leisurely drive, both roads will get you to the mansion with no problem.

Since this is a historic landmark, you are not allowed to smoke or vape at the Grand Island Mansion. There is a 250 dollar charge for each offense.
