We're Getting Married!!!

Benton and Sophia met in the Lassiter High School Marching Band and were close friends for all 4 years before giving a go at dating their senior year. Unfortunately things don't always work out the first time around so Benton and Sophia parted ways before graduating High School in 2016 only to reconnect in 2018 on a Disney trip with their mutual friend Addie. Even though the flirting on the trip was impossible to deny, the two stayed friends for quite some time before making it official on January 2nd, 2020 and the rest is history!

Benton and Sophia knew they were destined for forever from very early in the relationship but after 3 years together they decided it was time to take that next step. Benton consulted with friends of Sophia to organize the perfect proposal but a few strokes of bad luck meant he had to think on his feet and change the plans (more than once). On July 29th, 2023 Sophia made plans to get her nails done and hang with a friend, completely unaware that Benton was setting the stage at home. Sophia arrived home to find rose petals and lights filling their apartment and a note from Benton to come and find him and their dog Molly on a "walk". Benton popped the question under a blooming Crape Myrtle Tree that the trio walked to daily and it could not have been more prefect. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Roswell!
