Our wedding is at Amphitheater of the Redwoods at Pema Osel Ling in Corralitos, California! This venue also functions as a Tibetan Buddhist retreat center. This is a 104-acre property in the Santa Cruz mountains, surrounded by redwoods. There is a hiking trail on-site, as well as a Buddhist temple. All meals are provided onsite by the staff. There is some limited housing on-site, but we'll have a hotel block down in Capitola, which brands itself as the "original beach vacation town" for most guests!
Yes, our hotel block is at Seacliff Inn Aptos. You can navigate to the Hotel Block Tab for more information! If you'd like to be more adventurous -- you can also camp on-site! There is dedicated space for it, as well as access to communal bathrooms with running water for showers/toilet. Just let us know in the RSVP if you plan to do that.
Yes! Of any age! The more, the merrier. (If we know they're coming so we can make sure they get fed.)
We haven't yet sent out RSVPs -- that will be coming 4-6 months before the wedding date! Only Save the Dates have been sent.
We won't be registered. Your presence is gift enough! If you're feeling really generous, you can donate to our honeymoon fund. More to follow on that.
Please try to arrive at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time at the venue to get your bearings!
Dress comfortably! This is a heavily forested venue in the mountains. Bring a sweater, and we would recommend shoes you can walk comfortably in.
We will have shuttles from Capitola to and from the venue, before the ceremony and after reception/dancing ends. You can always choose to drive yourself instead, but please note that these are extremely winding mountain roads at night, and in many places, they are not lit. Use your best judgment on whether you'd be comfortable doing that or not!
