We’re getting married!

Two years ago we both went to the first ASS (Austin Social Scene) Formal. He was wearing a black suit with a red tie and I was wearing a long leopard dress which caught his attention. He recalled saying in his mind that he picked me out and said “that one “. After having a few shots of tequila with a friend of mine, Alex summed up the courage to talk to me. Even though I don’t remember what we talked about exactly, all I know is that we both had the biggest smiles on our faces and then we lived happily ever.

It all started on Christmas Day 2023. After we opened all if our presents, Alex gave a card with a written note on it that said “To my love, merry Christmas, we are going to Disney World! I immediately jumped up with joy and thought about the good times I had growing up with my grandparents.And so we went, then After a photo shoot and hours of walking we made it to the grand finale, the fireworks. I noticed Alex kept looking at as his phone hoping to time it just right. And While I was distracted by the beautiful nostalgic world of Disney, Alex, in a crowd of people got down on one knee and asked, will you marry me”. I was in shock and tears of happiness started to come, it was as if time had stopped. I said “yes “. Everyone around us was so happy and shouted congratulations. It was the happiest moment of my life.
