One of our favorite hikes in Northern Georgia. Located about 1 hour 20 minutes from Alpharetta. Amicola Falls is the tallest waterfall in the state of Georgia and the start of the Appalachian Trail. The state park offers a paved road you can drive to the top of the falls, or if you are in the mood to hike it is a 1-mile hike to the top of the falls. ( Warning the hike does include several hundred stairs)
If you’re up for a mix of history and outdoor adventure, Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park is a great spot to explore. With miles of scenic trails, beautiful views from the top, and plenty of historic sites along the way, it’s perfect for a hike, a casual walk, or just soaking in some fresh air. Whether you're into Civil War history or just looking for a peaceful escape, this park is a great place to spend some time outdoors.
Stone Mountain Park is something that you should definitely do if you are in the Atlanta area! It is great hike, or if the summer heat is too much you can always take the sky tram to the top for some amazing views of the Atlanta skyline. The park not only has a mountain but also includes several hundred acres of picnic areas, trails, and lakes. A day pass is $20/car or $40/annually if you plan to visit us again!

Ponce City Market is a lively spot with great restaurants, unique shops, and a rooftop with amazing views of the city. Just outside, you can hop onto the Beltline, a scenic walking and biking path lined with street art, breweries, and local cafes. It’s a great way to explore the city and experience some of Atlanta’s best spots
Visit Georgia Aquarium, one of the largest aquariums in the world, located in Downtown Atlanta next to Centennial Olympic Park and the World of Coca-Cola. Explore incredible marine life, including whale sharks, dolphins, and sea otters. It’s also just a short walk from the College Football Hall of Fame, making it a perfect stop for a day of sightseeing in the city!
