We met at Cardinal Mooney High School in our freshman year homeroom. We went on our first date that summer to the movies. We became closer throughout the summer and our friendship developed into a relationship! We continued to date all through high school and college. We are currently living in Portland Maine going to school at the University of New England and loving it! We can't wait to get married and spend forever together :)

It was Parker's birthday and we were getting ready to go to his favorite restaurant with our closest friends Mike and Tandy Madsen. Tandy was expecting their first baby at the time and had asked if I could take some maternity pictures for them at Kettle Cove during sunset before we all head to dinner. I of course was more than happy to take these pictures for them and agreed to meet them at the beach after school. As we got to Kettle Cove, it started to rain and the sun was setting FAST! I turned to Parker and said, "I hope the rain holds out for their maternity pictures!". Parker replied with a nervous laugh, "Yeah me too". The rain finally stoped and we all headed out to the rocks to get the best view of the sunset for their pictures. Once we got to the spot, Tandy asked to see my camera to make sure the lighting was what she was looking for and asked me to stand in front of the camera. I was so worried about missing the light of the sunset for their pictures. She said that the lighting was really pretty so she asked Parker to get in front of the camera too. As much as I thought it was really nice to get some pictures of us at this beautiful spot, all I could think was how I felt bad they weren't getting any maternity pictures! All of the sudden, I turn around and Parker's on one knee with a ring in his hand asking me to marry him! I was speechless! I of course said YES and couldn't believe it!! I'm so happy Tandy and Mike were able to help us capture this special moment and be with us to celebrate!
