Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are going with a semi-formal relaxed country vibe. Cocktail dresses for the ladies nothing too fancy. A pair of dark wash jeans or slacks for the guys with a button down. (Cowboy boots if you’ve got them!!) Think simple and classy. There is an example in the photo gallery for reference.

Can I bring a date? Or my kids?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Is hard alcohol allowed?

Answer

Our venue has a strict NO HARD ALCOHOL rule in place. If you are caught with any, you will asked to leave and we, Cody and Kylie, will be asked to leave the wedding site. Please respect our big day and come to celebrate!! We will have wine, beer, and champagne available.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

While we know you’d love to take pictures of Kylie walking down the isle or maybe Cody crying and after the “I Do’s”. We have hired a wonderful photographer to do that for us. We please ask you to respect our wishes and to keep your phones away during the ceremony. There will be plenty of time to take pictures throughout the night, we promise.

It’s April so check the weather for the Elk Grove area and dress accordingly.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Where should I park?

Answer

There will be a free valet service as you enter the venue. They will happily park your car for you so you can walk straight into the ceremony area.

Will there be refreshments before the ceremony?

You betcha!! We will have water and lemonade ready to quench your thirst after your long drive!!

Yes, the Hilton Garden Inn in Elk Grove.

What kind of food will be served at the reception?

Answer

We have selected to have a BBQ style buffet for dinner. This will include chicken, smoked tri tip, beans, mash potatoes, salad, and rolls. Items with common allergies will be labeled.
