Amber Adams is a born, raised, and remaining Georgia Peach - having grown up in Mableton, GA and currently residing in Acworth, GA. She attended Kennesaw State University where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Biology. She now works at an Ophthalmology practice in Marietta, GA as a Clinical Trial Coordinator specializing in treatment for Retinal diseases. She enjoys collecting and caring for her many houseplants, a good book, all things outdoors (as long as sunscreen and bug spray are on hand) and hanging out with her fur babies, Champ and Liza. Lee is a Smyrna, GA original and, also, currently lives in Acworth, GA. He attended Mississippi State University in Starkville, MS where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Landscape Contracting and Business Management. He loves his job as an HR Recruiter at a national contract packaging company. He is an avid golfer, sport lover, gamer, and wanna be movie buff.

Lee and Amber first met in 6th Grade Band Class at Griffin Middle School. Amber was a transfer student from an out-of-district elementary school but Lee and his friends did not hesitate to immediately envelope Amber and her childhood best friend, Olivia, into what would become quite an inseparable crew of teenagers. Flash forward to High School where Lee and Amber briefly explored a romantic relationship but called it quits after a short 8 months because *get this* Lee "didn't see himself marrying her". Lee and Amber continued to remain friends through out High School and College but reconnected when Lee moved back home after graduating. Their mutual love for queso and margaritas provided the perfect opportunity to rekindle a love that, let's be honest, never really died out. They began dating in the Fall of 2017 and the rest is history

The happy couple was visiting Asheville, NC for a short weekend trip to celebrate Amber's 29th birthday. Lee made a last minute plan to go on an early morning hike for what he was told were stunning sunrise views. Little did Amber know, Lee had a little blue box hiding in his pocket that he planned to ask a very big question with. That morning Lee encouraged Amber, still clueless to his plan, to get ready (i.e. take time to put on makeup) so that they could take good pictures with the sunrise. Amber obliged without a second thought. They trekked the mountain side through tunnels of sweet birch and rhododendrons. When they reached the top, they found a secluded corner of the summit overlook where they two had a perfect 360 view of the horizon which was already turning stunning shades of orange, yellow, pink and purple. Lee asked Amber, again completely oblivious, to stand atop a bench to get a better view while he secretly retrieved the ring from his backpack. Once Amber captured the perfect shot, Lee asked her to sit next to him and take in the beauty of it all. He began declaring his love and intentions but Amber was so distracted by the sunrise that he could not get through to her. He finally decided to get down on one knee and at the pinnacle of Craggy Mountain in Asheville, NC, watching the world wake and taking in all its beauty, Amber, in complete shock, may or may not have said yes but definitely meant to say yes to a life full of love, laughter and adventure with her best friend. She could never have dreamed of a more perfect setting or surprise.
