This is a historical hotel near Downtown Johnson City and East Tennessee State University with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance. We have a block of rooms set aside for our guests, so just call and ask for the block to reserve a room before October 6th.

This hotel is near the Johnson City Mall and a large strip of restaurants as well. We have a block of rooms set aside at a discounted rate for our guests, so call 423-929-2000 and ask for the Pifer-Seneker block to reserve your room before October 12th.

There are options on Watauga Lake and Boone Lake if you want to live the lake life for a weekend, but there are many different options to stay in Johnson City and beautiful surrounding areas in the mountains. It's a great alternative to hotels and something we've come to love as an option for traveling! If you find the perfect AirBnB and are just wondering if it is in a good area, don't hesitate to text us!

This is the closest airport to the venue. Unfortunately, the hotels are not currently running shuttles due to COVID-19.

Travel Note

Transportation Information on the Big Day

There will be a shuttle picking up guests around 2:45 PM at the Carnegie Hotel on the day of the wedding. The shuttle will depart from the venue back to the Carnegie Hotel at 8:30 PM and again when the reception is over around 10:15 PM. Guests are free to take the shuttle even if they are not staying at the Carnegie Hotel. We just ask that you arrive about 5-10 minutes prior to the pick-up time. The shuttle is optional, you are more than welcome to drive as there is plenty of parking at the venue. There are not many Ubers in the area.
