Rhinelander, WI - Home of the Hodag, and a tiny little airport. This is where we first met! If it wasn't for our families we would have never crossed paths. (Huge shoutout to Susan, Ron, and Gus) After countless emails, texts/ phone calls (remember when it was 10 cents per text and free calls after 9pm and on weekends?), and tons of questions later, Caleb asked Sarah to his JR Prom! Susan & Sarah hopped on a plane to travel 1200 miles across the country for Sarah to meet Caleb for the first time. Two weeks later, Caleb traveled out to NJ for the first time for what would then be their first concert together. A couple years flew by and a few more travels back and forth - these two not only gained a great deal of frequent flyer miles but they ended up together at the University of North Dakota where they completed their bachelor degrees.

What Sarah thought was just a week long vacation in Maui, Hawaii - turned out to be much more! We arrived in Maui excited to get our Aloha on and celebrate the marriage of Ashley & Jeff Marwede. We walked along the shore of sandy beaches, set sail on a catamaran for some whale watching, and zip lined on a volcano. We even woke up at 2AM to watch the sunrise off Mt Haleakala to bike down! Finally - we had a day trip of snorkeling to Molokini Crater where Caleb HAD to take a photo on top of the catamaran where he had the photographer prepped and ready to snap the photo of him getting down on one knee to pop the question!
