Wedding Party

Zuri

Bride

Zuri Greene is warm, intentional, and deeply rooted in caring for others. As an athletic trainer, she is passionate about helping people heal, grow, and perform at their best—bringing patience, compassion, and dedication into everything she does. A proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Zuri values sisterhood, service, and community, and believes in showing up fully for the people she loves. Outside of her professional life, Zuri finds joy in meaningful moments, shared laughter, and celebrating life alongside family and friends. She found her perfect partner in Junior Saintphard, whose steady support, kindness, and positive spirit bring balance and joy to her world. Today, nothing brings Zuri greater happiness than marrying her best friend. Surrounded by the people who mean the most to her, she is excited to begin this next chapter—building a life rooted in love, purpose, and lasting partnership.

Junior

Groom

Junior is a dedicated therapist specializing in addiction recovery, where he spends his days guiding people through some of their darkest moments and helping them rediscover the strength, joy, and purpose they thought they’d lost forever. Outside the office, you’ll find Junior soaking up the sun on the beach, pushing himself in the gym, cheering on his favorite teams, or diving into an intense gaming session with friends. He’s the guy who always has a kind word, a contagious laugh, and a positive outlook that brightens any room. Today, none of that compares to the happiness of marrying his best friend. Surrounded by the family and friends who mean the world to him, Junior can’t wait to say “I do,” start this new chapter, and build an even brighter future together with his beautiful wife.

Ronajah Holmes

Maid of Honor

My name is Ronajah Holmes and I am from Waldorf, MD. I’ve known Zuri since graduate school at the University of Lynchburg. As a bridesmaid, I am so excited to be apart of this next chapter of Zuri and Junior’s story.

Peterson Javier

Best Man

My name is Peterson Janvier. I'm a 27-year-old visual artist based in Pennsylvania. I'm an older brother and a little brother—family means everything to me. I’ve always believed that to create is to be free, which is why art is not just my passion, but my way of life. I’ve known Junior since the 8th grade, and over the years, our friendship has grown into a bond that feels more like family. From middle school halls to major life milestones, we’ve been through it all. It’s an honor to stand beside him as his best man and to witness the love he and Zuri share. I couldn’t be happier for them both.

Shaelyn Greene

Bridesmaid

Shaelyn Greene, 24, is from Philadelphia and currently serves as the Director of Operations at Lincoln University, where she has a reputation for handling business while balancing what feels like a hundred different responsibilities at once. From schedules and staff to unexpected surprises, she’s the one everyone turns to. She crossed paths with Zuri during Zuri’s first time at Lincoln and instantly clocked her as someone full of life, determination, and a little bit of magic. Their friendship grew through sideline chaos, big ideas, and endless ambition fueled by caffeine. Shaelyn quickly realized Zuri was more than just a colleague — she became someone she deeply respects, looks up to, and can rely on for anything. She’s honored to stand by Zuri on her special day and witness this beautiful new chapter.

Damian Roundtree

Groomsman

Meeting Junior at the University of Lynchburg was one of the best parts of my college experience. He turned what could’ve been an okay time into something memorable and amazing. I felt like I truly lucked out when, in the middle of our first year, we became roommates. We bonded over music, basketball, and TV shows—shoutout to him for introducing me to New Girl. If you know Junior, you know that being around him means nonstop good vibes and laughter. Some of the best moments I’ve had with him were on our boys’ trips, just vibing and trying to make each other laugh. On one of those trips, he brought Zuri, and that’s when I met her for the first time. What I remember most was how competitive we all got playing Monopoly—but even more than that, I remember how happy Junior was around her. In that moment, I just had a feeling she was the one for him. So, I’m beyond excited for their wedding and grateful to be part of that special day. From strangers to roommates to best friends—I couldn’t ask for a better friend than Junior.

Gretta Gomez

Bridesmaid

Gretta Gomez, Zuri’s new lifelong friend! We had an instant “connection over beers” at a casino night, sparking a friendship destined to last a lifetime. From that first laugh, it was clear we’d be friends for the long haul. Beyond thrilled to see Junior find his soul’s match in Zuri, I’m counting down to more lunch dates, wine nights, and drunken holiday parties with you both! Love yall!

Ali Muhammed

Groomsman

Ali and Junior met in criminology class at the University of Lynchburg, but the real bond started over ping pong—where Ali proudly admits he only beat Junior once in his entire life (and won’t let it go). From endless pickup basketball games to 2K battles that got way too intense, they were basically living in a dorm-sized sports arena. Their college diet consisted of pizza at midnight and tacos with tequila whenever possible—pure fuel for their adventures. And when they weren’t on campus, they were catching flights: Rolling Loud in Miami, wild times in New Orleans, and unforgettable (well… mostly) moments in Mexico. Ali’s been there for all the wins, losses, and tequila shots—and now, he’s here for the biggest one yet. Groomsman by title, brother by choice.

Jeannie Saintphard

Bridesmaid

Jeannie (Jean) sister of the groom. She enjoys arts and crafts, visiting new places, and trying new foods. Jeannie brings a perfect mix of warmth, wit, sarcasm, and loyalty to the bridal party, and is honored to stand by the couple on their big day.

Bryan Ortiz

Groomsman

I met Junior at the University of Lynchburg, where we bonded over psych classes and the new hurdles of college life. What started as two guys surviving finals turned into a decade of friendship—built on trust, terrible karaoke, and the kind of loyalty that doesn’t need explaining. Whether we’re planing trips or just shooting the breeze, Junior’s the kind of friend who makes the good times better and the tough times lighter. Now, standing beside him as he starts this new chapter, I couldn’t be prouder or more grateful to call him my friend.
