Dark Matter Coffee - Osmium Coffee Bar
We always like to grab coffee here in Lakeview. Adam tends to get the "Wake and Bake" latte. Laura usually leans towards the "Mayan Mocha". But they have a wide variety of drinks to choose from and it's always delicious!
Ragstock
If you want some crazy designs on your clothing like you came from the 80's (basically what Adam looks like everyday) then check out Ragstock! They have a very unique collection of button downs and t-shirts for men, as well as a large selection of just about anything for women. Vintage and new apparel for everyone.
Parson's Chicken & Fish
This is the place to be for delicious fried chicken! And fish too, Adam just doesn't really eat much seafood! Try the hush puppies as well because they are absolutely delicious. You cannot go wrong eating at Parsons.
Pick Me Up Cafe
This is one of the prime spots we go for breakfast or brunch! From omelettes, eggs benedict, or the "Clown Combo", you can never go wrong with the great options Pick Me Up provides on their menu. And let us also say that their milkshakes are spot on.
The Sixth
A very nice cocktail bar that occasionally has monthly themes based on movies, shows, books, or other things! Laura and Adam even had drinks during a "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" themed month and the entire bar and drinks were themed to be just like the film series. But don't let that make you think the drinks are basic... the drinks they offer are incredible!

If you're seeking more of the Chicago tourist staples, check out Millennium park in the Chicago loop! There you'll find "The Bean", Pritzker Pavillion, and other things that make up the park in downtown Chicago.
