How we met.... We met in class, not really thinking anything of it. I asked Brian if I could sit next to him. We chatted in class found out we had so much in common. We had kids, we loved to camp and we loved food. After months of just talking we started to date, and the rest is now history. Our kids.... Brian had Colby and I had Sophia but soon we claimed both kids as our own. With a second grader and a Sophomore we experience the joys of parenting daily. Our daily struggles to parent and be kind to one another make us stronger. We love our kids and wouldn't have it any other way though. Our proposal... Brian and I planned on hiking up to a popular lake in Colorado. The traffic was horrible so, we hiked another trail, the No Name trail outside of Glennwood Springs. Once we reached the end of the trail we were taking pictures when I turned to see Brian finally bending a knee to me. I almost threw a rock at him! Afterwards we spent the rest of the day doing laundry, soaking in the hot springs, dinner at a five star restaurant and then camped out under the stars.
