Max and Caroline met in October of 2019 when Max started at Loan Pronto. Caroline had been working there for a few months, joking with her co-workers about who would end up sitting in the empty desk across from her. She trained Max for the first few days, but they didn't realize they had mutual connections in Max's cousins, Wood and John, until they later followed each other on Instagram. From there, between Loan Pronto Friday lunches and Saturday nights at Jay and Kenzie's, Caroline and Max started (not-so-secretly) seeing each other. 3 years later and the rest is history!

Max and Caroline planned a trip to Corolla, NC for Memorial Day weekend, and stayed at the Corolla Village Inn, the sweetest little inn in the OBX! They had a few dinners planned throughout the weekend, and Max was (semi) prepared to propose when the time was right. The first full night down there, they were ready for dinner a bit early and decided to take a bike ride to the gazebo on the water at the Whalehead Club to kill time. They watched the boats on the sound for a while and before Caroline could suggest they head back, Max proposed! They spent the rest of the weekend taking in texts and calls from all of their loved ones, and have never felt so celebrated and loved.

To everyone close to us, we love you, and we thank you for all you do! From our families and family-friends, to our childhood, college, and work friends, we feel so blessed to be surrounded by people who guide and uplift us in every facet of life. You all are a huge part of what makes our love so special, and we cannot imagine celebrating this day with any other group of people! Let's party!
