We’re FINALLY getting married!

Some people meet through mutual friends, at a party, or these days through dating apps. Not us though. One snowy day back in December of 2013, I got up early Sunday morning at a friends house (not where I told my parents I was staying, sorry dad! 😬) I realized it was snowing pretty hard and we all had to get back to where we said we were staying. On the way back, the roads were getting covered and I had to make it up a hill in my Kia Forte... Long story short, I didn’t make it up that hill so I parked us safe at the Middletown Mall parking lot reaching out to ANYONE who had a four wheel drive vehicle. No one could pick us up, and I was like “I can not ask my dad to pick us up, he’d be so mad I drove in this!” At this point, I simply tweeted “I hate snow.” That’s when I got a message from Andrew, who came to save the day. I was so nervous. I had no idea who this guy was, but he had a truck and was willing to be my knight in Chevy Colorado. He took my two friends back to her house because he didn’t have much room for all three of us, and then he came back for me. The nerves I had waiting for him to come back.. I obviously thought he was super cute and there I was with last nights makeup on and sweats. 😫 He came back for me and I climbed into his truck. When he was about to drop me off, I realized that I did NOT want the drive to be over so soon. I wished my friend lived a little bit farther away. But I hopped out of the truck, thanking him a hundred times I’m sure, then we went our separate ways. I can not tell you the amount of butterflies that he gave me. I was waiting around trying to figure out if I should reach out to him afterwards. But he eventually got my number, texted me, and the rest is history. I look back on that day often, and I am so glad I went out driving in the snow. I know God has a plan for each one of us, and Andrew was God’s plan for me. No one has a story quite like us, but I believe we are meant to be in each other’s lives, forever. ❤️
