Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Danielle Pilacik and Andrew Springer
There are a lot of things to do in Bucks County. Most of you are from here, so you already know! But for those of you who aren't, here are a few things to do while you are in town.

Fonthill Castle

525 East Court Street, Doylestown, PA 18901
, (215) 348-9461

This is perhaps one of the coolest and most unique American castle. And the story behind it's creation and builder are fascinating. A tour is totally worth the money and time.

Mercer Museum

84 South Pine Street, Doylestown, PA 18901
, (215) 345-0210

Just like the Fonthill Castle, this is a very interesting place. Featuring a rotating collection of Mr. Mercer's personal collection of stuff. You could spend a whole weekend here without seeing all of it!

Washington Crossing

Washington Crossing, PA 18977

New Hope

New Hope, PA 18938

New Hope is a vibrant and interesting town. With many restaurants that are highly rated and unique stores, there is something for everyone here.

Doylestown

Doylestown, PA 18901

Doylestown is the County Seat of Bucks County and a bustling center for business and government. There are many shops and restaurants that rival the best in the country for quality. Some of Andrew and Dani's favorites are listed individually here.

Hattery Stove & Still

18 West State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901
, (215) 345-1527

Hands down Andrew's favorite restaurant in Doylestown. The burgers are some of the best he's ever had and he LOVES the Hot Chips. He has never had a plate of food there that he didn't enjoy.

Lilies of the Field

1 South Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901

Owned by a personal friend of the Groom. Lilies of the field offers women's clothing and fashion items. Unique, hip clothing and jewelry, most all American made!

Black Bass Hotel and Restaurant

Black Bass Hotel and Restaurant

3774 River Road, Lumberville, PA 18933

Andrew's ABSOLUTE favorite restaurant in the world. Try the Meeting Street Crab, or pretty much anything else on the menu. The building has a unique story going all the way back to the Revolutionary War. Take a walk over to New Jersey while you wait for a table, the walking bridge takes you into Bull's Island Recreation Area. Andrew's family has a tradition of walking over there every time they eat there.

Lake Galena & Peace Valley Park

PA 18901

One of Dani and Andrew's favorite parks. There are plenty of parking lots and docks, as well as abundant wildlife. There are even Bald Eagles now! Andrew's grandparents used to own a property that is now part of the park!

Nockamixon State Park

1542 Mountain View Drive, Quakertown, PA 18951
, (215) 529-7300

Nockamixon (or Nock if your saying it frequently) is a large and beautiful park with miles of trails, a large marine and a very healthy fish population.
