If you’re searching more than six months in advance, please note that some accommodations may not yet appear as available online. If you’d like to be within walking distance of bars, restaurants, shops, and beaches, we recommend staying near the town center (near Lama Monachile). There are many great options available on Booking.com. Travel Note

Travel Requirement and Passports

Be sure to check that your passport is not expired or expiring soon. As a general rule, passports must be valid for six months beyond the date the traveler will exit the United States. Starting in Q4 of 2026, U.S. citizens will be subject to new requirements to travel to Europe: U.S. citizens will be required to register with the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) and pay a fee (€7) to visit 30 European countries, including Italy. It may sound complicated, but it's super easy. Once launched, you can fill out the application form using either ETIAS' website or mobile app. Most applications will process within minutes, but in some instances can take several days or weeks - so please be sure to apply well in advance of your trip. The program is not live yet, but is expected to launch at the end of 2026. You can check back here or can follow ETIAS' website for updates. Please make sure you are on top of this so you don't have any issues with your ability to travel to Europe!

Flight

Bari and Brindisi Airport

Bari and Brindisi are the two largest cities in the region and both of them have airports and they are 45 to 1 hour far from Masseria Auraterrae. There is only one direct flight from the US to Bari that leaves out of JFK but you will be able to find affordable flights/layovers from most major European hubs. Train

Bari Central Station

Bari has great train links to all major areas of Puglia and Italy. There are trains and buses from Bari Airport to Bari Central Station which run every day, costing from €9. From Bari Central Station there are connections to most of Puglia's must-see towns. (E.g Bari-Monopoli takes less than 30 minutes). The nearest railway station is Polignano, 6km away from Masseria Auraterrae.

Shuttle

Wedding Day Shuttle Info

A shuttle will be available on the wedding day to pick up guests in Polignano a Mare. It will also stop at select properties along the route to collect additional guests. This will also be available at the end of the evening. More details on the route and timing will be shared as we get closer to the wedding weekend!
