What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony starts at 4 pm CST. Please arrive no later than 4 pm CST.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable, but we would also like to uphold a semi-formal/cocktail theme for our wedding. Please wear cocktail attire (i.e. cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits/rompers, skirts/separates, suits, dress shirt/slacks, ties). We ask that you do not wear blue jeans, ball caps, t-shirts, etc.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

While our ceremony and reception will take place indoors, we advise that guests bring jackets and umbrellas. We can expect average Fall weather for Central Illinois around 45-65 degrees, but there is always a chance for rain or snow.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both our ceremony and reception will be indoors.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The Pere Marquette offers complimentary on-site parking for guests and valet parking for $12 per day.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

All guests may choose to bring a plus one to the ceremony and reception. We ask that you RSVP in advance.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

We do have a hotel block for guests at the Pere Marquette. If you would like to book a room, please do so in advance. Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

We will be providing an Italian buffet (see RSVP tab) and are happy to offer an open bar.
