How we met

The Best Seat in the World Was Right Next to You

It all began on a crisp morning in Ireland, on a day tour to the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher. I had boarded the bus early, settling into my seat with an empty spot beside me. As the last passenger stepped onto the bus, I glanced up to see a handsome stranger making his way down the aisle. Fate—or perhaps luck—brought him to the seat next to mine. Out of breath from a hurried arrival, he sank into his seat, and I instinctively offered him a bottle of water. That simple gesture sparked something I couldn’t yet explain. At our first stop, as I stepped off the bus to explore, he called out from behind, asking if I was traveling solo and if I’d like to explore the site together. I said yes. From that moment on, it felt as though we had known each other forever. We laughed, wandered, and marveled at the beauty around us, sharing stories as we explored the Cliffs of Moher and the Aran Islands. What began as a day tour with strangers became an adventure shared with someone who already felt like an old friend. When the tour ended, neither of us was ready to part ways. We went to dinner together, savoring the warmth of conversation and the joy of newfound connection. As the day turned into night, we capped it all off with gelato, a sweet ending to a day that was anything but ordinary. Looking back, it’s incredible to think how a chance encounter on a tour bus led us here—ready to start our greatest adventure together.
