HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY STAY?

Answer

If you'd like to celebrate with us, we HIGHLY recommend booking your lodging as early as possible! This is a Cape Cod wedding during the summer so accommodations tend to fill up VERY quickly. For recommended hotels and inns, please see the "Travel" section on our website. Sonya has spoken to all of the spots we recommend on our list, so if you have any questions prior to booking, feel free to reach out to her at sgfreeman3@gmail.com.

WHAT TIME IS THE WEDDING CEREMONY?

Answer

Guest arrival for the ceremony on the private beach at the Wychmere Beach Club begins at 3PM. The ceremony will begin at 3:30PM sharp!

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Answer

Yes, we request that guests wear formal attire to our wedding ceremony and reception. Suits for men and festive cocktail attire for women.

CAN I WEAR HEELS?

Answer

Absolutely! Flip flops will be provided for the beach ceremony if you want something flatter for the sand. The cocktail hour will be on the deck overlooking the beach and the reception will be indoors, so your stilettos will have solid ground beneath them for most of the evening. Feel free to put your flip flops back on whenever, but especially for the dancing!

IS THERE TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE HOTELS TO THE CEREMONY?

Answer

There will be a shuttle picking up from the Winstead Inn and Handkerchief Shoals Inn prior to the ceremony on wedding day.

ARE KIDS WELCOME?

Answer

While we absolutely love your little ones, our wedding ceremony and celebration is for adults. We can help point you in the right direction for babysitting services.
