Things To Do

Crooked River Ranch is a small western town set in the beautiful Crooked River Canyon. It’s peaceful and scenic, but amenities are limited. There are just a couple of restaurants and a convenience store in town, and a grocery store and a couple restaurants in Terrebonne, OR about 10 minutes away. Bend, Oregon is about a 30-minute drive from the cabins and has a lot more going on, with great food, shopping, and plenty to explore. If you wish to explore Oregon as more of a road trip, there are lots of great options. From the cabins, you can head south or east to explore the high desert or visit Crater Lake, go west toward Mount Hood on the way to Portland, or travel north through Hood River and the Columbia River Gorge. You could even make it all the way to the Pacific Ocean! We’ve shared some of our favorite Oregon spots below.

Crooked River Canyon trail from Smith Rock RESORT - not state park.

5010 SW Club House Rd, Terrebonne, OR 97760

This is very close to cabins and is an amazing hike into the canyon, 2 miles round trip, in and out. Navigate to Smith Rock RESORT (not the state park) and drive to the dead end, park, and follow trail through gate. Spectacular. This view is the whole reason we are here!
