Our story started in February of 2017 where we first met at a bar in Seattle, WA called Ozzie's. To this day, we still have a playful disagreement about who made the first move. Sonnie says she dropped hints all night (which I MAY have missed). I stand firm in saying that I made the first move by asking her if I could buy her a drink. It all began when the bar was closing and I asked for her number and a drink date. The rest is history!
From the beginning, I knew there was something special about her. Her energy, her dance moves, and the way she lights up a room completely won me over. Over the past eight years, Sonnie has been my biggest supporter, my partner in everything, and the person who makes life feel like an adventure. Living together has only made it clearer. She is my person and partner for life. I couldn't be more excited to marry her.

Playing cards is one of our favorite things to do. I always have a deck stashed in my purse. Here we are at a beach bar in Phuket, Thailand. I imagine I beat Mandeep that round ;)
This was my 27th birthday, Mandeep surprised me with a fancy dinner date downtown Seattle.
This was our first night together in Vietnam.
More travel was had in Vietnam!
