Beach : swim, camp, boat, fish, kayak, paddle-board, fly kites, wind surf. The Point Overlook : Great place to view birds, dolphins, seals, lighthouses and more. Fort Miles : Once a World War II defense site. Tour Battery 519 and climb to the top of the Observation Tower. Borrow a bike and loop the park : Borrow a bike for free! Loop the trail around the park to experience forests, dunes, and the beach. Nature Center and Touch Tank : Learn about the park’s habitats and the creatures that live here. Or sign up for guided programs. Fishing Pier : Originally built to support mine operations during WW II. Today, it offers 24 hour access to fishing. Cast your line or take a walk to experience the natural beauty. (This is Ben's favorite spot) Gordon's Pond Trail : 3.2 mile trail offers views of coastal habitats - including dunes, forests, and wetlands. Hike or bike across the elevated boardwalk, and look for wildlife along the trail.
