Maid of Honor
Taylor and I met in the 7th grade at Paul Breaux Middle School. As our friendship grew, we became in separable. Taylor was over at my house so often in high school, she is often referred to as my parents' "second daughter." Taylor always knows how to make me laugh and is someone who is always willing to try something new. I couldn’t imagine this day without her!
Maid of Honor
Ann-Marie and I met on the school bus during our freshmen year at Lafayette High School. We quickly became close and Ann-Marie came over almost every day after school! Ann-Marie is one of the most caring and understanding friends a girl could have. I’m so grateful to have her standing by my side on this special day.
Maid of Honor
Joanne and I met our sophomore year at Lafayette High School through our shared love of Korean pop culture. Joanne is the most loyal person I have ever met and is always there for me, no matter what. I love her more than she knows, and I’m so lucky to have her standing by my side!
Maid of Honor
Through unlikely circumstances (i.e. a global pandemic), Liz and I met and became close during college. Liz is the most authentic and genuine person I know. She taught me how to embrace my inner Aries and live life to the fullest. I am so thankful that our paths crossed and she is a part of my special day.
Bridesmaid
Ally and I met at UTD when we were assigned co-FYLs (First Year Leaders) and taught a freshman seminar class together. We quickly realized that we are undeniably compatible and continued our friendship through undergrad, gap years, and graduate school. Ally is a person who understands my soul so deeply and personally, and I am honored to have her as a friend.
Bridesmaid
Sthefany and I met in my last semester at UTD in our Experimental Design class. We worked together supporting children with autism during my gap year and will always be my work-wife. She is the always down to take Regency dance lessons and dress up in silly costumes with me. Thank you, Miss Sthefany, for being a part of my special day.
Bridesmaid
Sarah and I met while coaching at the infamous Oak Creek Tennis Center. Whatever was in the water there, we were both able to avoid it. Whether we were 3 or 300 miles apart, Sarah has always felt close to me. She has taught me so much about coaching tennis, calling the hogs, and meaningful friendship. I am so thankful to have her with me on my special day!
Bridesmaid
Katelyn and I are cousins and were inseparable as children. Each summer and winter break, Katelyn would spend a week in Lafayette with me and we bonded over our intense obsession with boybands. No matter where Katelyn goes, she always fits in and is ready for a good time. She has been with me through so many times in my life, and I am thankful that she is apart of my bridal party.
Bridesmaid
Emma is Austin's sister, and soon she'll be mine! We often bond over crocheting, Animal Crossing, and making fun of Austin. Emma is incredibly kind and a joy to be around. I have always wanted a sister, and now I have the best one I could ask for!
Something Blue
Sebonay was the first friend I ever made in grad school! Through thick and thin, she is one of the reasons I made in through the program in tact. Sebonay is loyal, genuine, and kind to everyone she meets. She is always here for me when I need her, and I am so grateful to her for being my first grad school friend and my Something Blue!
Something Blue
Bailey and I met during our graduate program at SMU. We bond over Bravo reality TV and fantasy romance novels. She introduced me to Vanderpump Rules, and for this, I could not be more grateful. Bailey is the Dobermann to my Lab-Beagle mix, and I am honored that she's my Something Blue!
Something Blue
Sarah and I met during our graduate program at SMU. We share an affinity for Harry Potter, romance novels, and crafting. Although Sarah's technically a Gryffindor, her loyalty will always stand out to me as one of her best traits. I wish it I could experience what it is like to have her as a therapist, but I guess I can settle for her to be my friend and Something Blue!
Something Blue
Divya and I met during our graduate program at SMU. She slid into my DMs about Hunter Hayes, and the rest is history! Divya is dedicated, creative, and hilarious. You won't find someone who loves play therapy more than us, and I am honored to have Divya as a colleague, a friend, and my Something Blue.
