It was Christmas time so as every couple does, we decided to go to snowflake lane. It was absolutely freezing outside, and I did not bring a jacket for some odd reason. David on the other hand had a nice, big, thick coat. Keep in mind I have never been to snowflake lane and had no idea it was outside. He was warm, and I was cold 🤷‍♀️ So we walk down the street trying to get a good view. I'm 5ft tall so it was impossible. We gave up and went to the movies instead. Afterwards we sat in his car and talked for hours. That was technically our first date together.

So a few days before the proposal I asked David to take me somewhere nice, I wanted to go out and spend time outdoors. I wanted to hike, I love hiking and hardly go anymore. I asked David to take me and of course, if you know David then you know he is very reluctant to walk even half of a mile. Mia, my niece brought up the idea of deception pass, I looked it up and thought it was beautiful. It was not a hike so David said yes. On the day of David told me that Igor, his brother, was coming along with us. Which I thought was very odd because he is just like David, not a fan of hiking(walking). Anyways we get to this place next to deception pass (Mt.eerie) and we start walking and once we climb up some steep rocks I got tired and cracked a joke " I'm tired let's go home now" some people in front of me started to laugh. I didn't think anything of it. I finished walking to head towards the lookout, and I looked at those oddly matching people standing in the shade with dark sunglasses and realized they were holding a phone and camera at me... okay weird, but then I realized... It's his COUSINS! It was Alex and Vika, so then I turned around and I see the words "marry me" with flowers. It was absolutely beautiful. So David gets down on... two knees 🤣 and asked me to marry him. And of course I said yes !
