For people traveling from abroad, CANCUN is usually the cheapest option, but it is 3.5 hours from MÉRIDA. We suggest to compare both flights. To get to MERIDA from CANCUN: -Take a bus -Rent a car Renting a car will give you freedom to move around. It can be done online or upon arrival. We suggest you ask your bank if your credit card benefits cover Car Rental Insurance so you don’t have to pay that at the agency. You can rent with others to split the cost! ——————— Para las personas que viajan desde el extranjero, CANCUN suele ser la opción más económica, pero se encuentra a 3.5 horas de MÉRIDA. Sugerimos comparar ambos vuelos. Para llegar a MERIDA desde CANCUN: -Tomar el autobús -Renta de auto Alquilar un coche te dará libertad. Se puede hacer en línea o al llegar. Te sugerimos que preguntes a tu banco si los beneficios de tu tarjeta de crédito cubren el Seguro de Alquiler de Autos para no tener que pagar eso en la agencia. ¡Puede alquilar con otros para dividir el costo!

Here are our suggestions for accommodations: 1- Look into getting an AirBnb in the city center, prices are usually pretty good and if you are traveling with others, you can divide the cost to make it more affordable. 2-Check out our favorite Hotels in Mérida: IOH MÉRIDA MID CENTER. It has great prices! And also HOTEL VICTORIA in the famous Montejo Avenue. Go check it out! 3-Check out other Hotels around the Historical Center, there are a few and at all prices. ———— Estas son nuestras sugerencias de alojamiento: 1- Busca un AirBnb en el centro de la ciudad, los precios suelen ser bastante buenos y si viajas con otras personas, puedes dividir el costo para que sea mejor. 2-Consulta nuestros Hoteles favoritos en Mérida: IOH MÉRIDA MID CENTER. Tiene muy buenos precios! O también el HOTEL VICTORIA que se encuentra en la famosa Avenida Montejo! 3-Consulta otros Hoteles por el Centro Histórico, hay varios y de todos los precios.
